Mike Sloat directed Machine Head's latest video for the song Now I Lay Thee Down. As for the plot, the band's label says, "the video is a play about a past time in which a strange and grotesque man, who is shunned by society and outcast, decides that he wants to know what it's like to die. He asks his lover, the only person who cares for him, to take his life. Reluctantly, she does. But then she becomes so distraught and miserable about losing her only love that she decides she must take her own life as well to be with him forever. The play ends with the two lovers together again, at last in the afterlife. The curtain drops and the entire cast bows to the audience." Machine Head Live Video With Temporary Bassist Posted Online
Brandon Sigmund from the band Hostility has been filling in for Machine Head bassist Adam Duce after he broke his leg in a dirt bike accident. The footage is a fan shot clip of Aesthetics Of Hate and is the first video available with Brandon Sigmund on bass. Aesthetics Of Hate is a track from Machine Head's 2007 release The Blackening which is being praised by critics and fans alike. It is arguably their strongest release to date. View the clip below.

Machine Head Appoints Temporary Bassist
Machine Head have tapped Brandon Sigmund of San Fransisco metal band Hostility to handle bass duties for the upcoming "The Black Tyranny" tour featuring Machine Head, Arch Enemy, Throwdown and Sanctity. Bassist Adam Duce broke his leg in a dirt bike accident and has been forced to sit out the tour. No dates have been affected and the tour will go on as planned. Adam Duce received a steel plate and 2 screws during surgery but is expected to fully recover. Machine Head is out in support of their critically acclaimed 2007 release "The Blackening".
